The Vision Behind the Course

Our court-approved co-parenting curriculum was developed by Paul Maione, Ph.D., LMFT, out of a clinical need for practical, science-based tools that actually work for modern families. As the author of the Positive Parenting Through Divorce workbook, Dr. Maione’s approach is used across Colorado judicial districts to ensure parents have the skills they need to put their children first.

                Why this course is different: It isn't just a legal "to-do" list. It is a clinical synthesis of two decades of experience helping couples in family courts keep their children’s best interests at the forefront.
            

Dr. Maione earned his Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and has since served as a clinical director and professor. His work focuses on navigating the high-conflict world of family court while maintaining emotional sanity and child safety. Today, he continues to teach and mentor the next generation of family therapists as a faculty member at Capella University.
